JetSetVets was created by New York City and Hamptons based celebrity house call veterinarian, Dr. Cindy Bressler, after being commissioned for years by her clients to travel with them and their sick pets. Blue Star Jets, the leading private jet brokerage firm in the world, has partnered with Dr. Bressler to create JetSetVets.
JetSetVets will provide in-flight medical care, assistance with preparation of pets’ travel documents, and work with veterinary hospitals on a global basis to ensure seamless transport and transition of care. They have developed emergency medical protocols for dogs and cats on private jets and have nurses trained in pet CPR.
JetSetVets will donate proceeds of flights booked with Blue Star Jets to animal charities worldwide.
Dr. Cindy Bressler grew up in New York City. She graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Following graduation, she completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery and a residency in Internal Medicine at the Animal Medical Center on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
Dr. Bressler’s clients are in the NYC metropolitan area as well as in The Hamptons, Long Island. Her clientele includes prominent New Yorkers and celebrities.
Dr. Bressler is a concierge veterinarian for the Waldorf Astoria, The Standard Hotel, The Pierre Hotel, The Ritz Carlton, The Gramercy Park Hotel, W Hotels, The Tribeca Grand, The Soho Grand, Mandarin Oriental, The Montauk Yacht Club, The Montauk Beach House and Sole East. Her corporate clients include Apple, MTV, Viacom, Starbucks, IBM, Chanel, Estee Lauder, The Golden Pear, Maison 24, Kristen Farrell, Mayfair Jewelers, Joni’s and Kelly B.
Dr. Bressler created Hamptons Canine Concierge, a luxury service providing Hamptons dogs with services including accommodations, drivers, private jets, event planning, play dates, swimming lessons, training, organic treats, and grooming and spa services.
Dr. Bressler is on the Board of many animal related charities, including Last Chance Animal Rescue and NYCLASS. She works on many benefit committees to raise money and awareness about Animal Rescue. She lectures on the topic of veterinary medicine at universities, schools and businesses. She has been featured on many television shows including Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York and Animal Planet’s It’s Me or The Dog.
