Neeta Jain, Chief Technology Officer of health technology company, Vibrent Health, knows firsthand what it’s like to overcome obstacles. Diagnosed with lupus in her 30s, Neeta quickly learned that when it comes to health care, one remedy does not work for all. She took control of her health, managed her own treatment, and continues to experience incredible results.
Similarly, Neeta approached her passion for helping others through medicine, along with her desire to succeed as a woman in a male-dominated field, with fierce determination:
- In 2016, she took a small team of 15 to a flourishing powerhouse of over 200
- Vibrent Health earned a coveted National Institutes of Health (NIH) award to be the technology backbone of a massive research program, called All of Us.
- Neeta, who grew up in a patriarchal culture in India, also advocates for advancement of women in her field.
- According to a Korn Ferry study, only 10 percent of chief technology officer positions at technology companies belong to women.
Neeta is a powerful example of a strong woman who is beating the odds and making a difference, on multiple levels. In her rise to CTO, she has conquered obstacles with her health and worked hard to get to where she is now, leveraging passion and purpose in her career.
