Life isn’t about the destination. It’s about the journey.
And with daily doses of affirmation, the journey can be infinitely more fulfilling and transformative.
“There are 365 days in a year. Every day requires new mercy, new grace and renewed focus,” says Marlon Lock, an accomplished gospel singer, pastor, motivational speaker and life coach. “We can only live for today. Tomorrow has its own concerns.”
Lock delivers 365 messages of positivity between the covers of Day By Day with Life Coach Marlon Lock, a volume that draws upon examples from Lock’s own life experiences to gently encourage readers to reach beyond their fears and stretch beyond what they can dare to dream. Each daily passage is brief, requiring just five minutes or fewer to read and digest.
Day by Day imparts both spiritual and practical advice, with passionate words that plant seeds for future growth. Among the 365 topics he covers are Don’t You Dare Lose Focus, Be Aware of Who You Are, the Law of Consistency, Trust the Process, Beauty in Your Brokenness, Be a Peacemaker, Support a Cause, Behavior is the Only Truth and more than 350 others.
“My advice is to use this book as a tool. Make it a part of your morning routine to plant positivity and seeds of growth into your life,” Lock advises.
Ultimately, Day by Day is about supporting each individual’s efforts to discover who they are in the Lord and to live out their purposes to the fullest extent. Lock asks that readers simply commit to the journey — for just five minutes a day — and watch their lives transform.
