Marian Omidiji, the reigning Miss Black Arizona, has years of community service under her belt and aspires to be both a source of inspiration for young women of color and a distinguished leader in the country.
She is a cum laude graduate of the State University of New York at Oswego; where she majored in Business Administration and Public Relations. With a
newfound love for and commitment to the preservation of wealth in the country, Marian decided to bring her talents to the financial services industry in the West, namely Bank of American, Merrill Lynch in Arizona.
Having a blend of Michelle Obama’s excellence and grace and Mellody Hobson’s keen strategic planning abilities, Marian will undoubtedly make an
impact in her generation.

She proposes a country where there is equal access to economic opportunity and the ability to amass wealth regardless of race, gender, or background. In August of 2019, Marian will be representing the state of Arizona to secure the coveted Miss Black USA title. When granted the title of Miss Black USA, she will use the scholarship to attend a competitive business school to obtain her MBA and start a fin-tech company aimed at helping high-earning, millennial and Gen Z minority women amass generational wealth.
