USA Paralympic Athlete Femita Ayanbeku is Today’s Honoree

Hello everyone, my name is Femita Ayanbeku and when I was 11 years old I was in a car accident that resulted in the amputation of my right leg below the knee. However, I have chose to overcome those circumstances and started running about 3 years ago. I am currently the fastest female amputee 100m runner in the United States. I have been representing Team USA since 2016 when I first competed in Rio De Janiero and I am preparing for the next Paralympic Games in Tokyo 2020. Unfortunately, for Paralympic athletes, even at this elite level, we do not get the sponsorship attention or help that we deserve. I have started this page, because I have received several inquiries about how to support my journey and be apart of Team Ayanbeku. I am so very grateful for every bit of support and I welcome everyone who wants to be apart of Team Ayanbeku  as I prepare for Tokyo2020.
