Federal Bar Association President Kip T. Bollin is Today’s Honoree

Kip works hard with the Federal Bar Association to assist up-and-coming
lawyers through the FBA’s Young Lawyers Division. During his presidential
term, Kip initiated the inaugural Rising Professionals Symposium, which
allowed young lawyers to attend and network with those established in the
profession. This helps them learn what to expect from the field, and gives them access to contacts to help guide them along the way.

Kip Bollin, a litigation partner who focuses on the defense of class actions, product liability and business claims, began his term as FBA President in October 2017. He previously served as the national organization’s treasurer and a member of its board of directors. Bollin also is a past president and board member of the FBA’s Northern District of Ohio Chapter and currently serves as chair of the Northern District of Ohio Advisory Group, a court-appointed panel charged with providing information on matters of interest to the court, assisting in the implementation of court-adopted programs, and bringing to the court’s attention matters of interest to the bar and the community. Bollin began his legal career as a law clerk to the Hon. Sam H. Bell of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
