Ready Write Launch Podcast Host Chris Jones is Today’s Honoree

I’m Chris Jones and I have always loved book. As a professional writer, I’ve had the pleasure of writing about several celebrity, well-known and lesser known authors. Each one with his or her own story as to why they decided to write their book. All inspiring nonetheless. I realized after writing my first book, The Art & Business of Writing: A Practical Guide to the Writing Life, that I wanted to help writers and at any stage learn how to write more efficiently and market, promote, and sell their work effectively.

I started my podcast, which is named after my book, The Art & Business of Writing podcast, in 2015. I was determined to bring my audience inspiring interviews with writers, authors, and professionals who influence the writing world, as well as informational shows to help you navigate the writing life.

I’ve interviewed people like New York Times bestselling author John David Mann, EOFire’s Kate Erickson, Foundr Magazine CEO Nathan Chan, and Emmy award winning broadcast journalist Efrem Graham.

In my magazine writing life, I’ve interviewed high profile people, like HGTVs Sabrina Soto, Food Network celebrity chef Rachael Ray, Supernanny Jo Frost, Keegan Allen of ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars, teen sensation Caleb Maddix, and TLCs American Supernanny Deborah Tillman, to name a few.

Teaching writers like you how to build and maximize your author platform and create influence in your marketplaces through writing is my passion.

I’ve helped my clients to get exposure in print and online publications, on radio and on podcasts, and to create beautifully designed and Amazon-ready print books and digital books. I’m committed to making sure that I help those who work with me reach the goals that they have in mind, no matter how large or small.
