Art Dealer Felipe Grimberg is Today’s Honoree

felipegrimbergArt dealer Felipe Grimberg is the perfect example of someone who was shaped by the art he was exposed to at an early age. Born and raised in Colombia, Felipe Grimberg grew up with surrounded by fine art and asked his father for a real art piece for his Bar Mitzvah. He attended college in Philadelphia after moving to the U.S in 1999. After graduating he worked as a Purchaser Director for a construction company. Grimberg started his own business, Felipe Grimberg Fine Art, in 2000 and in 2003 he opened his first office in Miami. Grimberg has brokered Latin American and Contemporary art for years and has become one of the few art dealers authorized to represent world renowned artist Fernando Botero (Botero’s are can been seen in the photo above). In January of this year, he released his book: Selling Botero where he elucidates his relationship with Botero and his experience selling his work.
