Samuel Burke is a business & technology correspondent for CNN, as well as the anchor/producer of the “Cibercafé,” weekday mornings on CNN en español. He won an Emmy Award in 2014 for his reports on the weekly tech show CLIX. He appears daily on CNN International, CNN U.S., CNN en español, and HLN. He was host of CNN’s iReport TV show and anchored the program Europa Hoy from CNN’s London bureau. Previously, he served as Christiane Amanpour’s digital and field producer. Alongside Amanpour he has traveled across the Middle East and produced her program on location from Egypt during its first-ever democratic elections, Israel, the Palestinian Territories, England and France. He started his career as an intern for the program Anderson Cooper 360°. His master’s degree is from The Walter Cronkite School of Journalism.
