Author Christopher Kelly is Today’s Honoree

AmericaInvadesMilitary historian Christopher Kelly is the author of America Invades: How We’ve Invaded or Been Militarily Involved With Almost Every Country on Earth, which outlines American military activity around the globe from the birth of the United States—and, at times, even before—up to the present day. This popular history documents many of the little-known triumphs, tragedies and even oddball involvement of American forces.

His family’s long American military history – two of his ancestors participated in invasions of Canada during the American Revolution and another during the war of 1812 and much more!

CHRISTOPHER KELLY is the former Chairman of Chyron Corporation and a retired television executive. He’s had a lifelong passion for military history, and many of his family have fought in previous American wars including one, Stephen Van Rensselaer of NY, who led an ill-fated invasion of Canada. He is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley.
