Lola James is an honor student at her elementary school. When she was 8 years old she wrote a book on loose leaf paper and did drawings with the book. Lola filled notebook paper with the story and drawings to go with it. Her family loved the little book so much that they took it to her art teacher and her and Lola worked hard on making it into a real book others can enjoy.
For the next year she worked on making an actual book that was picked up by a publisher, The Sunbury Press. The book is a whimsical story about a boy named Timmy who received a potion by error that caused his pants to fly. The book takes you on a Timmy adventure. Lola wrote and Illustrated the entire “Flying Pants” book at 9 years old.
Lola James lives in a small town in Pennsylvania and enjoys writing, drawing, soccer and spending time with her family and friends. She is also the youngest member of a local knitters group. When she grows up, she would like to be an art teacher or a fashion designer.
