SportsGirl 24/7 Christine Firko is Today’s Honoree

Christine Firko’s career pursuits have brought her to many places and being in the public eye is a large part of her experience. Whether spending time lecturing interested people on Holistic Healing and Natural Beauty Techniques She loves the interaction with people and her enthusiasm comes through effectively. Through the many training sessions she has done she has realized that she has something to contribute to the world at large.

She has a certificate as a clinical herbalist from The Herbal School of Botanical Medicine and continue to research and practice in this field.

She is a weekly caller to WFAN’S Sports Radio on the Benigno and Roberts show as “Christine,” an avid New York Mets and New Jersey Nets fan, oh and Giants fan of course. She was invited to the WFAN and SNY (Sports New York) studios by New York Sports personality Joe Benigno and have attended many games and with members of WFAN, also a bowling event with team players of THE NEW JERSEY NETS which I participated in. She was a guest as “Sportsgirl” on Sirius Radio on “The First Word With Gary Williams” She discussed her Super Bowl thoughts for the 2009 season. She also has been a guest several times on Sirius Radio’s “Scott Ferrall’s Show” as “Miss Met” discussing sports. As mentioned before, she has a successful fan page as “SPORTSGIRL247″ on Facebook where she posts her daily sports commentary with fan interaction. She is a major sports fan who grew up a cheerleader turned basketball player in high school.

Christine has also appeared in print and was featured in “Beauty Fashion” magazine in 2006. She was a principal in a video for Lancôme Cosmetics. She also has done several promotional appearances for Bud light, Absolut Vodka, Remy Martin V.S.O.P Cognac in addition to others. Some other Promotional modeling was sponsored by Maxim, Hawaiian Tropic, Trump’s Marina and Atlantic City’s Convention Center.

In 2007, She was selected as a boxing ring card girl at Bally’s Atlantic City which aired on “Showtime.” She portrayed a real life Barbie doll at FAO Schwartz for a holiday event. She enjoys attending sporting events, music, hiking, nature, art and theater.
