Kristi L. Jackson, MBA is an Award Winning Humanitarian, Founder of Women CEO Project, was recently recognized by the White House as a Citizen Innovator and Entrepreneur and was 1 of 40 in the US, invited to DC to participate on the Social Opportunity Series Summit July 3,
2012. Women CEO Project was created to meet the needs of women entrepreneurs locally and globally, at every level in their business, a more strategic way of thinking, planning, and growing her business.
They do this by offering a curriculum of classes, trainings, seminars and events virtually and in person. Women CEO Project hosts over 40 events and trainings per year in Business, Social Media, Marketing, Business Planning, Strategy, Goal Setting and Power Networking. Jackson has served as a Business Mentor for Startup Weekend Houston, was a Judge and “Shark” for the Houston Area Urban League Entrepreneur Incubator Program, participated in the IBM SME Startup Grant, has been nominated for the Business Startup Award, and has been given a Humanitarian Innovator of the Year Award for her work to better the education of women in business.
Women CEO Project, recently nominated for “Women’s Organization of the Year- 2012” also created and hosted the FIRST 3 Day Multi- Speaker, Multi-Country, Global Women’s Virtual Summit. This interactive summit included 14 speakers from around the world for one hour each, to speak on a different business subject, through live streaming video. They could answer questions of attendees on the spot and chat with them live. This summit pulled in over 1200 attendees and is slated to run again last quarter 2012. Women CEO Project created and is currently hosting the FIRST Global Mastermind Circle Team- a group formed virtually, who serve as each other’s private Advisory Boards, give Peer to-Peer Mentoring and High-Level Brainstorming. The first team will graduate in January 2013.
