Joel Goldstein is a best selling author, speaker and Internet marketing consultant. He has been featured on television, newspapers and magazines as an expert in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Social Media strategies. Specializing in online lead generation, his clients have been varied from the largest online swimwear e-commerce website to independent medical practices.
As an active philanthropist for education, Joel has dedicated his time to organizations such as Junior Achievement, Child Rescue Network, American Lung Association, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and DonorsChoose.org – an educational non-profit and winner at Fast Company’s 2008 Social Capitalist Awards. He currently sits on the boards of local not for profit organizations such as Orlando Young Professionals and the Citrus Club Young Executive Board.
He is an adviser to such groups as Everglades University and the American Lung Association. Joel has been invited to the masters’ program at Harvard School of Business to pursue a higher education. With a certificate in management from the Wharton School of Business, Joel has been able to apply managerial principles from classroom to boardroom.
Not the average Ivy league student, Mr. Goldstein has pursued extraordinary adventures such as deep sea diving and hang-gliding. His drive for adrenaline has taken him to countries such as Thailand to fight with Muay Thai fighters to Israel to spelunk ancient desert caves.
Joel published his first book “A Professional’s Guide to Social Media” at the age of 26 in 2010. The book became a “best seller” on Amazon within the first month and is now in it’s second revision. Joel speaks at conventions and universities around the world on developing effective online marketing strategies for business professionals.
Joel has amassed a diverse (and certainly unusual) roster of credentials: • University guest lecturer in High Tech Entrepreneurship • Free-fall Skydiving License • Apple Certified App Developer • 2 years of Salsa Dance experience • Photographer for MTV • Author and Publisher of “A Professional’s Guide” series • Paperboy for Boston Globe at age 8 • 35 Professional Scuba Diving Certifications thru NAUI • Gallery featured artist in Miami’s famous Wynwood Art District.
