Brad Newman ‘s philanthropic efforts have touched thousands of lives. Brad Newman started an online giving website called www.givelocally.net, which directly connects givers and recipients. Recipients are paid in kind and not cash, and GiveLocally pays the money donated directly to their landlord, electric company, or other bills they may need assistance with. To date, GiveLocally has distributed over $100K in assistance.
Brad is a long-time Valley insider and Recovering Cynic, who passionately believes in the private sector’s potential to assist and impact local communities most in need. He has great faith in his fellow Citizens and their collective desire to help those around them.
Brad’s vision is for GiveLocally to serve and assist every community within the United States. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania who earned a law degree from the University of California Hastings College of the Law. His favored mode of transportation are Harleys or long boards, and he has been known to eat Chipotle three times a day.
