Today’s Honoree is Teressa Moore Griffin

A Self -Awareness and Personal Growth expert, Teressa Moore Griffin is the Founder of Spirit of Purpose, LLC. At the heart of her work is a belief that Self-Awareness is a core leadership competency, and the foundation for sustained success. Having held key positions in major corporations, Ms. Moore Griffin is an experienced executive who has grappled with many of the issues facing today’s leaders. With deep interpersonal competence, professionalism and compassion, she helps leaders develop the personal depth and courage required to effectively embrace complex business challenges, move through perceived limits posed by dilemmas, and capitalize on opportunities.

Since 1987, she has been an executive coach; managed organization-wide strategic culture change interventions; and designed and implemented leading-edge leadership development programs. Some of her satisfied clients include GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals, Forest Laboratories, AT&T, Merrill Lynch, American Express Company, Consolidated Edison, Harley Davidson, Barnett Banks, Texaco, The United Negro College Fund, and The Prudential.

Published in the area of multiculturalism, Teressa is a professional speaker. A former adjunct faculty member of The American University and The Institute for Core Energetics, she is a qualified user of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and the DiSC Personal Profile System. Additionally, she is a certified Organization Workshop trainer and a Core Energetics Therapist.

A graduate of Arcadia University, Boston University, and the Institute for Core Energetics, she majored in Psychology, Organization Development, and Human Resources Education. Her current memberships include the National Training Laboratories Institute (NTL), the Organization Development Network, The Women’s Leadership Collaboration, The Future Search Network, The Power and Systems Network, and The United States Association of Body Psychotherapists.
